Seit seiner Einführung im Jahr 1993 hat Hellboy Comics eine enorme Kult-Anhängerschaft aufgebaut, aus der zahlreiche Filme, Videospiele und mehr hervorgegangen sind.

Die Geschichte folgt dem Leben von Hellboy, einem wohlmeinenden Dämon, der von Nazi-Okkultisten als „Baby“-Dämon aus der Hölle auf die Erde gerufen wurde (was seinen Hass auf Nazis hervorbrachte). Er wurde von den Alliierten entdeckt; unter ihnen Professor Trevor Bruttenholm, der das United States Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (BPRD) gründete. Obwohl Hellboy etwas schroff ist, zeigt er nichts von der Böswilligkeit, die man Dämonen innewohnt, und hat einen ironischen Sinn für Humor. Dies soll auf seine Erziehung bei Professor Bruttenholm zurückzuführen sein, der ihn als normalen Jungen erzogen hat.

Ordered this Funko as a Christmas gift for my wife, who is a massive Muppets Christmas Carol fan.
The price was right, and in GBP which was encouraging. I became a bit concerned when I did a quick track on my parcel as Christmas was fast approaching, and found that the item was in Australia! I had no idea it was coming from that far, but I had no need to worry as the parcel arrived well before Christmas!
My wife loves it!
